Weekly & biweekly hot tub maintenance

For busy owners and heavy soakers who'd rather use the tub than run it. We show up on a steady schedule, test and balance the water, and leave notes — so "is it safe to get in?" stops being a question at your house.

Routine care, done right

The water stays ready, so you never think about it.

Hot tub chemistry drifts every single day — bathers, rain, sun, and time all pull it off balance. Catch it on a schedule and the water stays clear and comfortable. Ignore it for a few weeks and you're shopping for fixes.

Routine service turns water care into something that simply happens in the background, the same way the lawn gets mowed.

Every visit, every time

Six things happen while you're at work.

Each maintenance visit follows the same checklist, whether we come weekly or every other week. No skipped steps, no "looked fine from the driveway."

  1. Test the water

Sanitizer, pH, and alkalinity checked on site — numbers, not guesses.

  2. Balance the chemistry

We dose what the test says the water needs, nothing it doesn't.

  3. Rinse the filter

A clean cartridge is half the battle. We rinse it and rotate as needed.

  4. Surface & waterline care

Skim, wipe the waterline, and clear the scum ring before it becomes one.

  5. Cover check

A quick once-over of the cover — the part of your spa that works hardest and gets noticed least.

  6. Service notes

You get notes after every visit, so you always know what was done and how the water is trending.

Two schedules, one standard

Weekly or biweekly — pick your rhythm.

Same checklist either way. The right cadence comes down to how hard your tub works.

Weekly

$80 per visit + tax & trip

Best for tubs that earn their keep

Daily soakers, big households, frequent guests, or anyone who wants the water dialed in at all times. Heavy bather load burns through sanitizer fast — weekly visits stay ahead of it.

Biweekly

$100 per visit + tax & trip

The rhythm most homes land on

A few soaks a week and a reasonably covered tub? Every other week keeps the chemistry honest without over-servicing. If your water tells us it needs more, we'll say so — not just sell so.

Not sure which fits? Start biweekly. Your water will vote, and switching is easy.

Before we arrive

Your part takes about a minute.

  • Leave a clear path to the spa — unlocked gate, dogs inside.
  • Keep the tub powered on so we can run jets and test properly.
  • Mention anything unusual since the last visit: odd smell, foam, heavy use, a party we should know about.

What changes the price

$80 or $100 per visit — plus two knowables.

Every price adds sales tax and a trip fee that varies by location, quoted up front with your booking. One more honest caveat: if your water needs a full reset before routine care makes sense, we'll recommend a drain & clean first rather than balancing over a problem.

Included with every plan

Quarterly drain & cleans at the $250 member rate.

Weekly and biweekly clients get the full drain & clean — normally $349 — built into the route on a quarterly schedule at the $250 member rate. Routine visits cover up to 30 minutes on site; extended work bills at $60 per half hour. Plus tax; trip fee varies by location.

Good questions

Routine service, explained.

What actually happens at each maintenance visit?

Every visit includes water testing, chemical balancing, a filter rinse, surface and waterline care, a cover check, and written service notes — so you know exactly what was done and how your water is trending.

Should I choose weekly or biweekly service?

Weekly ($80 per visit) suits heavy use — daily soakers, big households, frequent guests. Biweekly ($100 per visit) is the rhythm most moderate-use households land on. If you're unsure, start biweekly; we'll tell you honestly if your water needs the tighter schedule.

Do I still need drain and cleans if I'm on routine service?

Yes. As a weekly or biweekly client they bill at the $250 member rate instead of the standalone $349, and each routine visit covers up to 30 minutes on site (extended work bills at $60 per half hour). Routine visits keep the water balanced, but the water itself still ages and should be replaced every few months — roughly quarterly for most tubs. As a weekly or biweekly client, your scheduled drain & clean is included in your plan at no extra charge — no separate $349 bill for those scheduled visits.

What if my water goes sideways between visits?

Call or text us at 253-468-2888. Sometimes it's a quick adjustment we can walk you through; sometimes it's worth an extra visit. If the problem keeps coming back, that usually points to the plumbing — see our problem water page — and the fix is a drain & clean, not more chemicals.
